R&D

Since establishing our corporate R&D center in 2000, we have localized imported core engine components one by one.

Research & Development

Technology that makeswhat could not be made

R&D at S&W starts on the shop floor. Numerical analysis of cam profiles and machining programs, design and analysis of forging dies, forming and joining of super heat-resistant alloys — all were problems we had to solve ourselves in order to make real products.

Through government research projects and purchase-conditioned new product development programs we localized cams and camshafts for large engines, and the technology gained along the way is protected by patents and utility models.
