Business
From the heart of the engine to the joints of a plant. All three businesses grow from one technology: working metal.
Business Overview
Three businesses,one technology
S&W started with bolts and nuts in 1967 and has since expanded into nuclear parts, core components for marine diesel engines and forgings. The 2003 merger with Woosung Valve added engine valve technology, and with our own forging equipment we built a system that completes everything from material forming to precision machining and inspection within one company.
The three businesses support one another. Forging makes the raw material for engine components; the heat-treatment and materials know-how built in fasteners raises the quality of engine components; and the precision machining capability of engine components lifts the level of our special fasteners.
