S&W set up its own forging equipment to carry out the forging that its engine components require in-house. Because quality is controlled from the forging stage — where the grain structure and flow of the material are shaped — the quality of subsequent heat treatment and machining is secured consistently.
With this equipment and know-how we also supply forgings for heavy equipment, industrial machinery and the automotive industry, operating a high-quality forging production system that includes DNV approval.
